Beach Fanatic

So my sister and I have been talking about the beach the past couple of days, reminiscing about all the time we've spent there over the years, and now it's gotten me into the beach kinda mood.  If only vacation was a little closer...

Strange Encounter

If you've been to our house, you know I'm the crazy cat lady.  Except you have to substitute the cats with plants.  One of the plants has been living at the top of the stairs overlooking the front foyer for about 2 years.  The sun is bright and he's happy.  Here's his picture.

So this morning I was vacuming around this guy's house and I spotted something strange.  I have no idea what this plant is planning on doing but I'm interested to find out.

We had visitors this weekend and we gave them whirlwind tour of our town, complete with BBQ, breakfast, milkshakes, and a trip to the brewery!

Well, we added another milkshake carrier to our collection on Friday night.

Here's our flavor report -

Orange PushUp or Orange Squeeze (name is up for debate) - Heavenly.

Strawberry Cobbler - Second best - It's no peach cobbler.

Snickers Cheesecake - Fantastic - even without the shot of carmel.

HiC Punch - Eww - Never again.  I didn't even finish this one.

Peanut Butter - A nice solid milkshake.

You Scream - I Scream

We all scream for Ice Cream!!!!

We <3 CookOut milkshakes!! 

Yes, these carriers add up to at least 20 milkshakes but it's been a month since we have been "collecting" these and there were 10 people in the house this weekend helping expand the collection.  What's your flavor?

Easter 2010 Style

Our weekend included - Easter egg decorating, a trip to the botanical gardens, tee-baseball, a marthon dutchblitz game with 7 people, a visit by the Easter bunny, taking up a whole pew in church, an Easter ham at least 7lbs too big, a few trips to Cookout for milkshakes, lots of candy, family, and the best of friends......

three days without work is paradise
